A seller near me has a fossil egg.  A hadrosaur egg of some sort.

I think the seller is genuine, and I am fairly well committed to buying the egg at this stage, but want to confirm things before it all gets the final go ahead.

I've looked at the various egg buying guides here, and though this doesn't look quite like the example eggs given it also doesn't look like any of the fake eggs.

Can people please let me know if they think this is a genuine egg?
Thanks for the help!

Do you have any information where this is from and its Size?   It does look like a dendroolithus egg that has not been cleaned but not getting a good look at the eggshell.

@Geep what @Troodon is asking is the geographical origin.  We prefer you do not mention any prior ownership.  Thanks.  ;)

I vote for this being a real dendroolithus egg

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

It claims to be from the Xixia basin, Henan Province, in China

Dimensions are: Weight is 3.7kg and size 150 x 120mm.

Sorry JohnJ, I included that because the seller was using it as a means of indicating authenticity- though the name means nothing to me, and anyone can make such claims

I'm goin to go ahead with buying this, thanks for the help everyone!
