minnbuckeye
I had forgotten that a few pieces of Burlington matrix were left in some acetic acid. Found the dissolved specimens today and labeled the known ones accordingly. These SMALL specimens that are shown today are not anything I am familiar with. So it is for this reason I am seeking help!! Edited March 23, 2022 by minnbuckeye
deutscheben
Many of those appear to be partial teeth of Thrinacodus. (I would say definitely 4, and possibly 1, 2 and 6 as well). Have you seen this thesis? https://etd.ohiolink.edu/apexprod/rws_etd/send_file/send?accession=wright1567706794231779&disposition=inline Titled CHONDRICHTHYAN DIVERSITY WITHIN THE BURLINGTONKEOKUK FISH BED OF SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS (MISSISSIPPIAN: OSAGEAN), it has some good pictures and IDs of the various shark and fish material that can be found in that deposit. minnbuckeye
@deutscheben Glad for your opinion! I actually had these specimens in a bag labeled "Thrinacodus?????". So it is nice to know my thoughts were likely correct.
