Deltadromeus tooth?

Andrea marotta

Hi everyone!

The owner of this tooth received it as a Deltadromeus but says he's not convinced. Size makes him doubt. Is it possibile to be sure of the ID of this tooth from Taouz, Marocco?

Is it definetly Deltadromeus agilis?

Thanks

No skull has ever been found of Deltadromeus so we can only speculate what its teeth look like.

This could be an anterior Carcharodontosaurid tooth

so, speculating :zzzzscratchchin:... May be Deltadromeus or Carcharodontosaurid (even so fat?). is it possible to say which is more likely? can there be a third option?

Carcharodontosaurid is my best guess.  Anterior teeth have an oval base.  Anything is possible we know so little about the theropods in the kem kem.
