What is the hardness? Does a steel knife blade scratch it?

Does it have any bubbles in it?

Tentatively looks like a man made piece of ceramic or glass.

I agree this looks like a fragment of ceramic figurine.

Thank yall for your help!!

I haven't tried...but I have a feeling a knife prob would scratch it...

there is alot of limestone around here..alot...

but its for sure solid...I don't know how to rate it on a hardness scale...its not heavy like a rock though...

don't know of that info my spark a thought it might be a type of coral..

I dont expect coral to be glossy and smooth, instead I expect to see fine details and septum where the individual coral lived.

The texture on the surface of the ceramic is made to look like folds in material or fur.  Probably an arm or leg figurine segment.
