Benifossil2021
Hello everybody: I have recently got this nice specimen of Ammonites from Middle Atlas, Northern Morocco. Seller states the specimen is from the Cretaceous. Sadly, no proper identity is given to me by the seller. I would like to know if anyone is happen to know something about this kind of Ammonites. Thanks in advance, Best regards, Benito. SPAIN.

Tidgy's Dad
Sorry, I don't recognize the species. My city, Fes, is on the northern edge of the Middle Atlas Mts. but as the range covers over 100,000 kilometres squared, there's much I've never seen. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Ludwigia
I'm also not familiar with this fauna and the location, but I would take a guess at Neolissoceras. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Benifossil2021
Thank you so much for your kind comments. Neolissoceras seems to be a good starting point. Regards, Benito. P.S. I am not familiar with those Moroccan fossils as well as the area is huge and there are lot of things to be discovered yet. Interesting area, I guess.
