Just acquired this megalodon tooth from Indonesia, it has some kind of etching all over the crown, but both root and the crown are solid, not like most of the land find indo meg.

I’m wondering if this tooth is digested ?

I have seen similar "damage" to crowns through my time looking around the internet.... each time "digested tooth" is mentioned.
Is it actually digested, I can't say. It's certainly plausible though!

It looks typical of a “leached” tooth that was found near the surface where it would have been exposed to weathering.
