Brandy Cole
I should know this one, but I've looked for a while now and it's not coming to me. South Texas, pleistocene. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Brandy Cole
@Harry Pristis Hmm. The deer examples seem to have a much sharper, more pronounced groove than mine in the area above and between A and B in the picture on the far right (if I'm right that the third drawing represents the view in my first picture). Do you know of any other examples that I might need to compare to in this size range?
Harry Pristis
I'm comfortable with "deer." All of the sharp edges on your find are rounded -- worn by stream action. The high points are lost. You could look for an antilocaprid radius to increase your own comfort. 1 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
Brandy Cole
@Harry Pristis Thanks, that makes sense. Deer it is then.
