Fish fossil or dumb coincidence?

Hi, new to fossil hunting...

and at this point it's just hard to find out what my imagination is or what's real.

I found this rock on the beach in Denmark...

so...dumb coincidence, or actually a fish imprinted on a rock? just noticed the back looks weird to

Hello, and a very warm welcome to TFF from Morocco.

I'm afraid your 'fish' is just a piece of limestone that has been fractured and then weathered to produce the suggestive shape.

Haha, i was afraid of that, strange to only be an outline I guess,

this is all of the funny items I found on the beach here, def. no fossils I think, except if you call petrified wood a fossil,

really loved the smiley stone lol

The back side almost certainly contains fossils. they look like cross sections of bivalves or similar.

Looks like the last item may be a horse incisor.

Wait for other opinions, though.  ;)

Cool! think its pretty thin to be from a horse though, at its max it's 1 cm wide, so im curious, if it's a tooth, could it be from another animal maybe?

would love to hear more opinions :D getting exited to go hunting again, it's so relaxing to do aswell

Not sure on measurements, but it is pretty beat up/worn/water eroded, so that may play some part.

Just going off looks, but others may be able to help.

Not sure what it could be in the area you collected in.  if found in florida i would think in terms of piece of dugong rib, piece of antler, or even petrified wood.  As said i dont know if it is any of the above.  Is there a local museum?

Actually, this place is filled with deer, wouldn't surprise me if it was a small piece of antler, found a lot of petrified wood here, but they were not as deep black as this is.

Found it in Denmark (the island is called funnen)

Research "hackle fringe" or "hackle fracture" in regard to your first photo.

I don't see anything that suggests to me the black object is a tooth or fossil.  :(
