What's my fossil?

I found this shell fossil in a creek located in Northeast Georgia. Can anyone tell what kind and how old it is? Is it common, rare or unusual? Any info would be awesome!

a gastropod ( snail ) steinkern.

growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Indeed, this does appear to be a gastropod steinkern. Being the internal mold it is difficult to identify it much further.
