Tooth or Claw?

Found this small interesting specimen on the Peace River, FL almost two weeks ago.  I gave been working on an ID since and have jumped between a tooth and claw and back again. My first thought was a mammal canine or incisor.  I couldn't find a match and then started thinking cetacean. The curve to the tooth and the "chisel"shape of the tip didn't support this idea.  Then I started to think maybe it's a claw.  This possibility seemed supported by the crenulated area that circles the specimen near the thicker end. Either way I am stuck at this point and hope for some help in furthering my I effort.  @Harry Pristis, @Shellseeker, @Bone Daddy anyone recognize what this is?

Specimen measures 22mm Long x 10mm Wide at its thickest.  It tapers to 5mm at the tip.

I agree with cetacean..

You might want to see the photos at the end of this thread.  What is that strange collar around the tip?

And this tooth....

Jack, Thanks for your response. The last couple of photos on the thread you recommended really appear similar. Mine definitely has a solid core and that “collared” section looks striking similar. I am good with the cetacean ID for this one. It’s great to have the resources of the Forum so readily available for help!

Agree with cetacean. Banged up whale teeth can present different looks that are tricky to ID at a glance.
