Hello all,

Can someone help me to identify this tooth?

(Neogene age). Found a while ago in Belgium. Very small (8-9mm root with).

Kind regards!:thumbsu:

Teeth of that size and shape can belong to a couple of different genera like Rhizoprionodon or Sphyrna.  It might even belong to an odd Carcharhinus.  Rhizoprionodon might have a narrower cusp than that and only some Sphyrna teeth look like that so take a look at some photos online and then wait to see what others say.
