TyrannosaurusRex Posted May 2 Share Posted May 2 Gastropod cross sections. I’ve seen many turritella and tylostoma from Bexar and the surrounding counties. I have a piece almost exactly like this from near there. Tall thin one is definitely Turritella. Nice piece Link to post Share on other sites

The better the provenance, the higher confidence we can wager assessments of formation. I was going off erosional pattern of the gastros in hard limestone, and haven’t found corals personally in the Buda. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
