Decca406
Hi Can anyone identify this fossil. It's roughly 3cm by 4cm at longest points. Found in Shetland. Thanks Diane Edited May 4, 2022 by Decca406 Didn't put location
Fossildude19
My first reaction is that this isn't a fossil, but a water worn piece of sandstone. Better pictures may help. Multiple images of the same view don't give us much to go on. Please take pictures from directly above the object (not an oblique angle). Take pics of all sides, imagining the item as a box. 2 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
