Rock bone or tooth but probably rock

Hi-looking in a field in S.E. Michigan and found this thing. I cannot tell if it is a rock or a bone or a tooth. I am guessing most likely a rock, maybe with the holes from weathering or fossil inclusions? Any help would be much appreciated

Looks like a deer hoof core, likely modern and not a fossil.

Wow that was quick. I found it near some stone tools but I guess there is now way to tell if there is any correlation between them. Thanks for the id

Agreed. Looks very much like a hoof core. The photos are a bit fuzzy, but I think the ID is correct.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
