westcoast Posted May 10, 2022 Share Posted May 10, 2022 Ironstone is not magnetic, you wouid have to smelt the iron minerals (often iron carbonate-siderite) in ironstone to get metallic iron for it to be noticeably magnetic. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
