i understand that most of these are likely bivalves (?) but i am wondering the age of them or any more info anyone has on them? found in north east uk (north yorkshire). i applied beeswax to the shells exposed so they’re easily seen

It's difficult to tell from these pictures but most of the bedrock from that area appears to be Mesozoic. You might check where you found it against this map HERE or another geologic map if that one doesn't have your location to try and determine the age.
