rocket
mostly colored, I think I add a pic of a solnhofen-crab how it should look like the second one has some dark lines, this is where it has been a bit colored. It´s an original, it was colored to show the legs better. But you can see, painted parts do not shine
aeon.rocks
Your Solnhofen shrimp is enhanced - maybe, probably painted over, restored... You can try using acetone to see how much is real. Maybe 0, but perhaps there's real parts under the paint. As mentioned above, in UV light real Solnhofen fossils glow! aeon.rocks
If it doesn't glow that means it's either painted over real (split) parts or totaly fake, you can also check with magnification first, then acetone (acetone will remove paint, but no harm to real parts). For comparison the incredible Aeger from picture above here again in detail. Btw., this was preppared with up to 50x magnification in over 300 hours: Edited May 18, 2022 by aeon.rocks 5

Depends on the paint. Not all paints will be removed by acetone. But glued parts can get loose. Paleorunner
I don't know what's underneath, but looking at it with some magnification, it looks like a colored pencil painting.

Lucid_Bot
The person who sold me the shrimp will accept a return, but continues to stand by his description of the piece as mildly enhanced. Apparently there's only a little stain and sealant on it.
