I've done archaeological fieldwork in the area, but did a bit of palaeontological exploration in my free time and know that there are fossiliferous limestones in the general area. Not that I nitrogen to know their age... The beach-sands around the resorts, on the other hand, have been imported - I forget from where, if ever I know - and would thus be harder to date Link to post Share on other sites
