West of Fort Worth river/creek finds

Some of my collection.  All from just west of ft worth. 
 

Any experts please chime in if anything a rarity or unusual find.  
 

couple of jaw bones have me stumped if know what they are.  
 

also would like any knowledge of y’all think that fossilized mud had a bird foot print in it?

 

hematite club or axe is interesting to me also.  A lot of tool marks and cuts with polishing .  Any experts in this also?

 

have questions about quartz triangle, square, and perfect oval?   Mystery artifacts to me. Possible some sort of early jewelry or something along the lines of shamen stones etc. all found in archaic to paleo camp near where I live.   
 

Many of old bones have tool or butchery marks on em also.  Most look bison.   Anything stand out other than bison or other extinct mammals?

I don't know much about artifacts, so can you please describe for me what we are seeing here.

Ludwigia these are projectile points.  Most are for spears not bow and arrow.  Used in a atlatal/spear clunker device.  Bow and arrow and pottery are recent in early man terms.  Estimate 2000 years ago to present. 

various grinding/manos stones, crude stone axes/war clubs, digging farming tools

few pieces of pottery in the frame with unknown polished triangle,square and oval and bone with butchery marks 

All bones were found in river ,bank or laying on gravel bar   Colors differ from how long and where found. Sun bleached are usually brittle and falling apart.  
hematite stone in one pic is special to me. Kinda unknown has cut marks ,polishing, and kinda looks like a club which is rare to find hematite artifact here.  Up north near Brest lakes they find em all the time.  Not in Texas. 
coniferous fern leafs in one frame. 
Grinder/manos where used to process grain,nuts animal parts etc

My favorite point of collection from ranch I used to work on. Only quartzite point I have found in 25 years.  Truly took a ton of skill to produce a point out of this material.

My son lives in Flower Mound.  I have been to POC in Sherman once and we found some interesting teeth. Lately my hunting trips with him have been Florida.

I do have a huge interest in the funny looking pointy rocks, but do not find sufficient numbers to become remotely close to an expert. I do ask lots of questions trying to expand my knowledge. Here are examples.

Here is one of yours. In Florida,  it would be called a Newnan http://www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Newnan.html, which always have a flower pot like stem.  What do you call it in Texas? It seems like it is slightly off center,  which might imply resharpening, which would imply knife blade.

 

 

 

Florida has a lot of sand, shell, mud , clay but not so much in the way of rock,  at least where I hunt.

So indigenous peoples made do  with coral,  chert, any available replacements for rock.

I would have to look at projectile point .com for exact name and age of this point. It’s not a knife.  Definitely a atlatal/spear point or could be a arrow from bow.  Not likely though.  Let me look at that site and find the name and rough estimate of how old.  FYI finding points is very rare and have to know where to look.  For a estimate for every 15 to 20 hours exploring  at least on my area I find a point : gone years in between finds without finding one.

A Bulverde point is a reasonable identification.
