Strange fossil

Hi

I live in the UK near the coast in devon and my bro found this.

Its strange as its in flint stone and has a strange pattern !?

I'm thinking it's a bit of fossil coral, but let's wait for other opinions.

Yes, it's a bit of an echinoid, probably in flint from the Late Cretaceous chalk that forms parts of the cliffs along the south-east Devon coastline.
