Hello! I saw this Dicaranarus monstrosus fossil online, I want to know if it's authentic or not.

I think we'll need brighter and closer photos. I can't make out any details on my monitor :zzzzscratchchin:

Some of it is real, but seems there's a lot of paint (to cover the scribe marks and possible resto (i.e. some spines seem restored)). Better photos would be needed to say more.

If dealers are supplying photos with no resolution and no close ups, I leave well alone.

  Yep, need better closeups pics for sure.  I bought some of these back about 25 years ago when I was still learning lots of stuff about fossils.  The ones I bought turned out to be only partially real and then added onto with resin or something.  I never bought any more.  I do wish you the best of luck though.
