is this petrified wood fossil?

i found this is se ohio in a creek and i think it is petrified wood but i am not sure

doesn't look like wood.  No tree rings, no wood texture.

Also its very heavy

Some sort of ironstone nodule, perhaps.

I agree! Looks like ironstone to me too.

These tend to be common in areas where plant fossils are fond. Often they are in what looks like stacks.
