I recently bought this Spinosaurus tooth but I noticed the back looks a bit different to other teeth I've bought in the past just wondering if it's been repaired or restored?

So still very new, especially in terms of what's real vs fake - but from what I've seen, the root, and the back, do look like they were restored/repaired due to the color change which seems to happen very abruptly. Some better pictures might be able to clarify for sure, though.

Interesting one, I think it has been glued and perhaps restored. If you have, take a bluelight-lamp and try a pic. This helps and solves many problems...

Its a real tooth will some repairs and quick fillers done to it, very common to see

Its definitely been worked on/restored. Part of me wonders if it's a composite, but it's for sure had some TLC at the very least.

This side and the tip of the other side has been very poorly restored.  I dont see a composite but you never know
