We found a few dinosaur eggs located in Utah. Not quite sure on exactly what they were laid by or even if they are fossilized eggs.

I'll give you credit, those may be the most eggy looking non-eggs I've seen.  A safe rule of thumb in fossil collecting is that it's never an egg - they are very rare and require such extraordinary circumstances to be preserved.
