Some IDs needed for fossils from my hunt yesterday, so any help would be appreciated!

1) Not sure if this is a sea robin skull or something else.

2) I think this is a very worn tooth from something?

3) Preeeeeeeetty sure this is just a rock with some interesting layers - but I’ve found them on occasion and figured I may as well ask:

4) Very thick piece of what I originally thought was sea turtle shell, but due to how thick it is, I’m not sure anymore:

As always, any help is appreciated!

Going off my own research I believe the first one is a sea robin skull piece

I think, specimen 3 could be a partial tooth.

That was definitely my thought, and why I picked it up - but it's a very different texture from horse and similar teeth, which has made me think possibly a piece of mammoth tooth?

@Shellseeker Would you say #3 here is a mammoth tooth piece? It looks very similar to the second picture you posted here:

More pics of specimen #3 - I’m feeling pretty convinced it’s mammoth tooth honestly.F8E9C9BA-9FE2-4855-8775-1A1F3DACDDDF.thumb.jpeg.2b645b7764122e1b556db4728f337c96.jpegAACC5310-99AF-43E2-A29F-AF1B5F993C06.thumb.jpeg.f3ef0b5e584d9d34d3d55566af309fc0.jpeg93DE5A03-3833-468D-B280-EA53E263072E.thumb.jpeg.3b403a0c694f08240e344fded347e7e8.jpeg

That's very similar to @Shellseeker's tooth.

Makes me both happy to have finally found a mammoth tooth (or fragment) but also sad, as I've DEFINITELY thrown a couple of similar pieces back into the peace thinking they were just cool layered rocks.

Yeah, definitely noted that it's easier to ID a rock as a rock than leave it and be sad later!

With the new pictures, I think, mammot tooth file fragment could be a good guess.
