Hi ! this is a T. rex tooth. Provenance:
Hell Creek Formation
Carter county
Montana, measures 2.25 inches.

Yes its "appears" to be a T rex dentary tooth.  Some repairs to the mesial side, 2 areas look reattached.  Recommend using a good UV light to check it out and see if it has resto.  Good repairs are difficult to see with photos.  The Base looks very odd needs to be hand verified to insure authenticity.
