Mammoth tooth frag, hammerhead shark teeth, tusk bits?

So went to peace River today, and as always, I come back with ID’s being needed! So a few different things today.
1. Possible piece of tusk? It’s got cross-hatched lines on it which makes me think of Schreger lines.

2. Another thing I thought may be tusk, for the same reason.

3. I’m almost certain this is a mammoth tooth fragment, but I wanted confirmation!

4. Are these hammerhead shark teeth, or lemon?

Thanks in advance!

1) Tusk?

Awesome, I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for tusk from now on then!

So hammerhead is wider, that makes sense. I should be able to tell then. I can finally make a drawer with hammerhead teeth, but I’ll have to sort through my lemons and bulls!

i was thinking it was some section in the middle of the tooth, it looks like the enamel bands from the crushing surface but extended downward into the tooth?

Fossils? I dig it. :meg:

It is the remains of those thin roots at the bottom of the tooth. they are like pencils breaking into short lengths. Simple processes are easiest to understand.

The first looks like Negaprion, the second Carcharhinus.

I’ll have more pieces to ID today, already picked up a few bigger pieces. Still nothing beyond a single band though.
