Adie_uk
This has me stumped, Its fram Java Indonesia, it came in a lot with some small shark teeth, fish teeth and sting ray barb... i assume its fish related? looks like to small tusk like pertrusions, other guess was turtle related, would be great to hear from anyone thats seen anything like this before. Thanks

Adie_uk
MAYBE its a relitive known as the sail catfish also know as the "Crucifix Fish." on the little tusk looking spikes i cant see any evidance of them being joined to other bone ... attached an extra photo of a crucifix skull that has been painted to highlight why it gets its name
Adie_uk
if so the skull protrusions (horns would have formed the anchorage to the over sized barbels?? what do you think?
