Possible fossil/tooth or just a cool rock?

I was wandering around the creek behind my family’s house earlier today and spotted this. Located in Western New York, Southern Erie County, on a tributary of Buffalo Creek.

I’m guessing it’s just an interesting rock, but thought it was an interesting enough shape to look into. I’ve included photos of all sides, wet and dry and the location found.

Not tooth, but intriguing nonetheless.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Weathered septarian nodule. There are many horizons of these within the upper Devonian material of western ny and can contain calcite and barite. They also have the odd ammonoid in them!!
