jpc Posted June 29, 2022 Share Posted June 29, 2022 snails can be tough to ID. You need the actual shell but this is only the infilled cavity of the empty snail shell. A natural mold. n And anyone here who knows snails would also need to know what age rocks it came from, which could be very difficult if it was found in the playground as playground gravel might have come from anywhere (likely in Indiana, but still anywhere in the state).
