I found the items today at Mappleton, I think the one on the left is coral but the one on the right has me baffled and any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.548372215_20220629_2011211.thumb.jpg.7fdcbdf00b1896c10d4413c719982166.jpg

Better pictures are needed.

Straight on shots as well as all sides.

Sorry but have been working over the weekend and didn't have time to respond in a timely manner, I hope the attached pictures are more useful.

There is more to the rock than I first thought as some of the images have more details when viewed in a different light, I now get why I was asked to take better pictures as the first photo lacked lots of the unseen  details.

Looks like a breccia or rip-up clasts to me with the original down being the left edge of the rock.  The odd square looking piece was deposited along with all the material to the left in this photo (see how similar looking they are) and then broken away from the sea floor in a storm or some other sort of disturbance and immediately redeposited askew along with the reddish looking material on the right side of the picture.  Within that reddish material you can see other clasts or fragments of material.  That is one likely scenario for the rocks origin.  Certainly is neat looking with that very rectangular piece.

I think the rock is a breccia, with shattered pieces of a finely bedded rock in it.

I'd like to see close ups of the other one as well.

EDIT: ClearLake has just explained it more thoroughly. :)
