That makes sense, the color and texture are just very different than other corals I have found and I thought it might be something new

Definitely a Rugose coral from the radiating lines at the underneath of the fossil. More specifically, a Rugose coral from the family Streptelasmatidae, such corals are known from the Ordovician of Indiana and are also defined by distinct lines that go vertically up and down the sides of the coral :D.
