Mark Kmiecik
Not a snake head or aquatic fish (not a Landshark either ). There is no bilateral symmetry. Also no evidence of any bone structure which should be readily evident in either snake or fish head. The eye orbits are of unequal size and are asymmetrically positioned from each other. There are no nostrils nor any evidence of a mouth or jawline. Those may be some fossil bits showing in the third photo, but I don't think there's enough detail available to identify genus or species. 5 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Randyw
Really cool rock! But not a fossil i’m afraid.
fifbrindacier
I agree, this is a rock. Though it's a nice pareidolia. 1 1 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Fossildude19
I think this may be a chert nodule. Brandy Cole
Your third picture looked interesting to me. Would you mind posting a picture with a more detailed view of this part?
val horn
i think it is a great fake, it takes almost no imagination to see it. that said it is still not a fossil as has been explained earlier.
