Nimravis
I am just getting back to this collection and going through a couple things and I saw this concretion that would have been found weathered open. 1/2 of my brain is thinking worm, but the other 1/2 is seeing a Mayomyzon pieckoensis (Lamprey), what do yo think? @RCFossils, @stats, @connorp, @Mark Kmiecik

This shark was loaned to the Field Museum and Dr. Rainer Zangrel took a look at it. He stated that this specimen showed the mouth (white dot area). I can see why that’s a favorite. You can see the eyes and branchial arches. 4
Mark Kmiecik
I'm leaning toward Mayomyzon pieckoensis. 1 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
veenasaur
Bit late to the post but really love the specimens. Also this fossil guy looks a bit disappointed to be not have been found sooner. 1

Nimravis
Looking through more pieces and came across another Esconichthys apopyris - the red arrow points to an eye or eyes.
Nimravis
This little piece reminds me of the bottom portion of a Mazopherusa prinosi (Fan Worm), but not positive. Here is an “Aitch” or “H” - Etacystis communis.
stats
Maybe a part of a millipede. Looks like some chitin. Can you tell with a loupe? It looks like some spines. Cheers, Rich Edited February 24, 2023 by stats

Nimravis
Just to update this thread. I recently received a fossil insect that my friend hand loaned over 39 years ago, if you did not see that post or the fossil take a look at the below link and the rest of the unopened concretions from this collection that I picked up today. My friend that I bought the collection from, advised me at the time of purchase that all of his unopened concretions were mine too, but he was going to hold onto them and freeze thaw them. Earlier this week, I stopped by his house to show him the above mentioned winged insect. At that time he advised me to stop by and pick up his unopened concretions. 95% of these concretions were collected from 1974 through the 80’s from the Pit 11 Tipple area and the South Wilmington Sportsmen Club, which is also Pit 11. He also had a few larger concretions from Shadow Lakes - Pit 4. He is a person who like to freeze thaw his finds and never whacked them open. Prior to leaving that hat day he advised me that I could keep the winged insect and gave me another Tully Monster and shrimp molts that popped open. INSECT- TULLY- SHRIMP MOLTS- I stopped by his house today and picked up he u opened concretions that he had in two large metal garbage cans. Here is a picture of the back of my car while I was filling buckets. By the time I was down, my bumper was almost hitting the ground- lol. I ended up filling 10 1/2 5-Gallon buckets of these great looking complete concretions. There are several thousand in this lot. Many of these I am sure hold more Tully’s. Other random, larger concretions. This fern was opened already and I will have to glue it together. Here is a great Essexella asherae- Jellyfish. I also picked up these large 10 posters that are printed on thicker stock and are about 2 feet by 1 1/2 feet. He picked these up at a MAPS Show about 20 or so years ago. These are very well made and look very nice. I will post pics once these concretions open up, I also will be freeze thawing these concretions.
