Yeah, that’s a very intriguing one, could be a differently preserved Esconichthys or could be another kind of baby fish or tetrapod. Exciting!

This is definitely an odd one.

I am also getting a tetrapod vibe.

The head shape is a bit off from a typical Esconichthys.

Hoping that Jack spots this one and comments. Could it be a young Esconichthys? It looks so wide for something that short. Interesting piece.

This is a wonderful find! Can you get a close up image of the middle part of the right image in the first pic? There appears to be linear feature there..

My first thought was squashed Esconichthys, and I also noticed the interesting "spinal" feature.
