The 1st few may be the strangest rocks I have found. Appreciate any input. Thanks!

Are the following specimens too weather worn to make a general ID? I know they are pebble-ish, but on some, there are potentially ribs (very worn), etc. I’m wondering about echinoids, ostracods, possible small brachiopods.  562BE00C-2997-4262-A0AF-850B20AEC540.thumb.jpeg.3203e9ddbf9785ec0741322e3cc8c09f.jpeg8CFA1E6F-867D-4991-809E-2C67274032A3.thumb.jpeg.90882e975dfd3694d1b5036b858b2c62.jpeg9FC83E58-6015-4D7C-B625-392D2C2DBEDC.thumb.jpeg.57284879a77cd45924453be3f1fe2621.jpegD0FC3640-5986-43DB-98B4-B50A04B9F3AF.thumb.jpeg.a5dea9a94bfbf2e0c3566ff88b700296.jpeg42D4A858-25FA-4487-A74E-F7A2506CE278.thumb.jpeg.f84acb78fbc11255fd7e4af58f7132f4.jpegPotential bivalve? D20F752E-F9E5-4B6F-98F2-0826A68442E2.thumb.jpeg.2bf7e9705275c7930c639d12d63808d1.jpeg

Sorry, but these all look geologic in nature, to me.

Wait for other opinions, though.

That’s cool - it is important to know that too! Unfortunately, most of the rocks I have easy access to are mostly going to have trace fossils or very weathered specimens which I am finding challenging. Learning a lot though!

Well I didn't look closely enough - there do seem to be a few brachiopod imprints on one of your rocks.

Neat! I hadn’t even looked at that level of detail for this specimen because  I was thinking the overall structure looked like ‘something’ (like an echinoid, burrow structure or plant root). I just took a few more pictures photos of details. As it is challenging to get a feel for something when you only have a fragment, I included a few more details that I didn’t show in initial group.

I cleaned dark dirt out of the orifices with dental pick and left the lighter colored debris that was under the soil.  Now I’m thinking I may remove the contents. I have found some of my favorite seashells exploring nooks & crannies of larger broken shells.
Thanks for your feedback!

I also want to make it clear - that I am not suggesting this is a fossil because of any symmetry as I know rocks & minerals demonstrate that too. Just wanted to share what I think is neat about this rock.

Oh gosh - I guess I didn’t proofread my reply showing better pics of specimen.  I meant to say - I am NOT suggesting it is a fossil  based observation of features such as potential symmetry, etc.  Wow, my erroneous response makes me sound like an ungrateful ignorant . Mods- can it be deleted?  @fossildude

No worries @Steph  -  looks OK to me. ;)

I'm not really seeing any other fossils in the pictures provided.

Sometimes, softer minerals get trapped between harder rocks, and when the harder rocks break open, the softer rocks dissolve.  (Concretions)

Whether that indicates possible fossils that have been eroded away, or not, is beyond me to be able to discern.
