ConnorR
I found what are claimed to be Basilosaurus jaws online, and I can't decide whether they're authentic. They definitely have real material, but I have a suspicion that they might be composites. I should also note that they are suspiciously cheap [price redacted]. First one is 15.7 inches: Second one is 24.4 inches:
rocket
I am sure they are composites, well done, at a reasonable price. Original ones are impossible to get at this price and rare..., so most of them are composites of two or more jaws with teeth of two or more animals. I can see superglue with fine sediment, crack who change the direction..., different colors. So, this is my opinion Edited July 24, 2022 by rocket 1

ConnorR
Here's one from another seller. I can't see anything wrong with this one. *On second thought, it looks like large parts of it have been badly painted over.
rocket
can you do blue-light-pic? I think it has been painted (could be because of imperfection of the bone-surface, not a fake, but...) and one or two teeth seem to be inserted. Main problem with the jaws is, that you find only parts or when you find a complete one teeth can be isolated or broken and has to be reglued. So, often it is not possible to decide if it is a fake or does it show the way you find and prepare them. I have seen several jaws from mosas and basilos and the percentage of the perfect ones without regluing or mounting was, let me calculate, hmmmm, perhaps less then 10%. But, perhaps 10% more have been original ones, remounted, glued and filled. Sometimes hard to decide, really...
