Bobby Morgenfeld Posted July 25, 2022 Share Posted July 25, 2022 I found this rock while hiking in a mountainous range around Central chile, 2 hours out from santiago. The area around where I came across was very elevated and dry, with features similar to the atacama(which was once underwater). It has ridges on the side of it, as well as having the size and shape of the outer part of an amonite shell. I used a rock identification app which told me it was made of limestone. Now I'm wondering if I found a fossil or just a weirdly shaped rock. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
