Meganeura
Was on the River today, found lots of stuff - gonna post a trip report - but wanted IDs on these 3 things: a possible coprolite, a possible tortoise spur, and a possible ear bone! @Harry Pristis @Shellseeker@GeschWhat 1) The coprolite: 2) Tortoise spur? 3) Ear bone? Fossils? I dig it.
Brandy Cole
Your first piece looks like chert to me. Also, I'm far from an expert, but I think your second piece lacks too much detail to be able to identify it. Looks like all the cortical bone that would help confirm an ID has been worn away. You made some great finds overall though. That glyptodont rosette in the other thread was awesome!

And that's definitely fair on the second piece, I haven't found any tortoise spurs to compare with yet, so I really don't know what I'm looking for. And thank you! It's an absolutely giant rosette, I'm really happy with it. 1 Fossils? I dig it.
Brandy Cole
It has a very suggestive spur type shape to it, and I've never seen one in person, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But the spur examples I've seen online seem to have a much smoother, less porous surface than yours. Check out these examples: https://www.prehistoricflorida.com/product/fossils-recently-sold/three-massive-giant-tortoise-spurs/9820/ And on your first item, your second picture is the one that reminds me most of black and white chert.

Ooh. Yeah, it’s almost certainly just bone based on those pictures. Oh well. Fossils? I dig it.
Meganeura
Better pics of #3 cause I realized the light did a bad job showing it: Im thinking rock, but there’s some areas that look to be porous. Just a little though. Fossils? I dig it.

Just a little though. If nothing else, a good fortune teller should be able to read your palm lines and predict your future . More bone, less hand .
