Austin Chalk Outcrops

Hey y'all! 
 

I am a geology/paleontology student at Texas A&M and I am researching the Austin Chalk.

I was wondering if anyone had any good Austin localities near the Waco/Temple area or anywhere near 35 all the way up to Dallas. I’ve researched a few old papers and found a couple of spots but I figured this forum could be a good outcrop resource as well. Would love some help! Thanks so much.

Welcome to The Forum.  Your research should provide you an adequate starting point.  But, there is no substitute for learning the Chalk using geologic maps and your own observations.
