gigantoraptor
Hello all I found these a couple of months ago during some hunts in the Bathonian of Northern France. They are like little round buttons. This is the only one that has decent, clear quality, most of them look like little pebbles. They are all like 1-2 cm in size and found in marine deposits together with gastropod steinkerns and bivalves. Any idea what these could be? Kind regards Thijs
TqB
Definitely a solitary coral, something like Chomatoseris. Edited August 13, 2022 by TqB 3 Tarquin
IsaacTheFossilMan
+1 for Chomatoseris. The same rock units exposed where I live, in the Cotswolds, UK! It's interesting seeing how somewhere different in the world has the exact same rock, granted the UK is a hot mess (geologically speaking, but isn't it the same for the rest of the UK... ). ~ Isaac; www.isaactfm.com "Don't move!
