Equus upper cheek tooth?

Found this tooth on a gravel bank here in Southeast Texas.  I think it's an equus upper cheek tooth?  I haven't found one this small...so my question is - Was this from an older horse and it's been worn down to this size? It seems fossilized or heavily mineralized. ..solid as a rock.

Right upper Equus molar! I found one of those yesterday myself. Yours isn’t small really, just not huge, as far as I can tell.

Fossils? I dig it. :meg:

It is Equus.  I have some great examples of Transverse Hunter Schreger Bands (HSBs) for Rhino and Tapir..  I have been looking for some on Horse and will save your photos , especially the last one.
