Found this unusual colored river polished rock in Texas creek.   
 

is this petrified wood or some sort of quartz etc.  ?

 

mineral experts please weigh in.  

this color is unique for my area.

Getting pet wood vibes here but pics are a little blurry, a giveaway would be the detection of cell structure under magnification.

 

A very nice river tumbled piece of pet wood if that is the case.
