Okay a few IDs are needed today - shark tooth, what I think is an armadillo scute, and something I don’t know.

1) Shark tooth - the massive root is throwing me off.

It looks like Galeocerdo, probably a symphyseal or anterior.

I thought as much! Glad to know I can add another symphyseal (Which is what I think it is, based on pics online, over anterior) to my collection!

Yeah - i'm certain the second is a worn Holmensia Sp. scute - armadillo, not Glyptodont, those are much bigger + have the rosette pattern. But interesting take on 3 being a steinkern. I'll have to take more pics tomorrow.

Hulbert didn't tell you the claw core is from "a carnivorous rodent like a raccoon."  :shakehead:   What did he say?

To quote: "The general anatomy of the distal phalanx (=claw core) is the type found in rodents and carnivores. Based on size most likely from a smallish carnivore, such as a raccoon." I paraphrased, poorly, lol. I may be a little tired, I know Raccoons aren't rodents :heartylaugh:
