1 inch long tooth found in hells creek formation South Dakota

We need someone who is much more knowledgeable of the Hell Creek fauna. However, IF I found your tooth in Florida, it would be tapir, probably a lower jaw tooth. @Harry Pristis might have a better comment

Fully agreed - I saw the tooth and my mind immediately went “Tapirs in South Dakota?”
