Than you in advance. My child picked this up on Pensacola Beach thinking it was a seashell. I just found it while washing off the bucket. Looks like a fossil of something to us but not sure. Any help would be appreciated

It looks like a beak of a bivalve that has been drilled by sponges (the small round holes). A local might be able to ID the shell fragment.
