Fossilized vertebrae

Hello All,

I am new to the forum. I have a few things I would like to post I have found near where I live. These vertebrae I actually found in a house flip a friend of mine did so I am not sure the original location found. I am told they are most likely whale but the weight makes it arguable. The larger of the two weighs about 40lbs. What do you guys think?

Whale is in my mind, also.

The density of fossil whale centrums varies depending on the preservation. Some is surprisingly light.

Boy without a location makes it tough.   The fossa on the centrum of the one in the bottom right suggest it might be sauropod.   They have slightly concave ends.

I know I really wish I knew where they came from. It is an odd thing to find left behind. I imagined them driving down the road saying “Did you grab the dinosaur bones?” “No!” “ I thought you grabbed them!” I really appreciate everyone’s response! I have looked around on sites like fossil era and haven’t seen anything as large are the larger one.

Based on the overall shape, the relatively narrow neural channel and the little holes on the side I think these could be sauropod verts.

These are not whale vertebrae - the surface texture is also really unusual and indicates it's something else. Plesiosaur is another possibility worth entertaining - if I remember right, sauropod vertebrae are typically pneumatized and rarely this 'solid'. Plesiosaurs do have shallowly concave articular surfaces like this.
