Info needed

This appears to be some sort of animal in an egg shaped nodule. I don't where or when it was collected but I would appreciate any info.

Nice crab. Put some cloth or thin foam packing material between the halves when you put them together. Repeated separation and assembly of the two halves will eventually abrade the fossil enough to ruin it. Same effect as rubbing two pieces of sandpaper against each other.

  That break in the concretion is showing the ventral side of the crab.  I cant tell you what species or where it came from but its not from Washington.  It needs to be cleaned and dry fitted and if everything looks good, glued back together and prepped from the dorsal side.  Just my opinion.  Good luck whatever you choose.
