WEBPDQ
I found hollow fossil this in a creek bed in Alachua County. I would really appreciate help identifying it. Thanks. Fin Lover
Looks like a modern bone to me. Fin Lover My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs. Rockwood
Looks like it may be from a deer. It could be a fossil of Pleistocene age.
WEBPDQ
Thanks for your comments. The bone is hollow which is why I did not think it was a deer or a bison. Perhaps a bird? Or do bones get hollowed out somehow?
