Yoda
I have decided to start a thread showing pieces from my collection. I usually post in the "mailbox score" thread, but have found that my additions get lost in the volume of postings in the thread. So my collection will be in my own thread. 2 MotM August 2023 - Eclectic Collector
Yoda
The 4 main groups of fossils that I collect are : Fish Plants Amber with inclusions Stromatolites I do like to have a few examples of all other bits and pieces. Most of my collection is from before the KT boundary But I do have some younger stuff too I will start with 2 Ammonites which arrived recently. Relatively common, though still nice to have 7 1 MotM August 2023 - Eclectic Collector
Tidgy's Dad
Nice. You can find these in open fields in the Ilminster area. Ploughing sometimes brings them to the surface. 1 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

I think they were found in the Pleistocene Leda Clay, in Green Creek, near Ottawa, Ontario. 2 1 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Mine is from Greenland, as well. 5 5 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
